1 You* are the salt of the earth.
2 You are the light of the world – like a city on a mountain, glowing in the night for all to see.
3 Don’t hide your light under a cover! Instead, put it on a stand and let it shine for all.
4 In the same way, everyone should know you by your acts of mercy, compassion and kindness. By doing this, they will recognize God in your life.
